Koerner Place Apartments is a newly renovated 80-unit apartment complex for
low-income senior adults located in Kernersville, NC. The
garden style apartments are located in a beautifully wooded and
landscaped area close to shopping, doctor's offices, restaurants,
and local businesses. Persons age 62 and older, who qualify
financially, are eligible for residency. The apartments
consist of one and two bedroom apartments with living room, kitchen,
dining area, bedroom(s) with closet and bath. The Senior Lunch
program operates Monday through Friday in the community room for
Koerner Place tenants and community residents. A part-time
Resident Services Coordinator and a Social Activities Coordinator
are on staff with van transportation to local shopping and
activities available one day per week. Opened in 1982.
